سْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
We are all in pain
We feel the pain of losing someone whom we care and love so much,
We feel the pain of not being able to get what we desperately want,
We are in pain watching the dreams that we have built slowly crashing down,
We feel the pain of brokenness for being hurt or betrayed,
We feel the pain of unrealised hopes,
We feel the pain of emptiness, of numbness that we can’t explain
Yes, we are all in pain,
We feel so much hurt
We can’t even explain them in words
Truth is,
God tests us where it hurts the most,
Yes, He will test us where it hurts the most,
Because only when it hurts so much,
Only when it is so utterly painful,
That we will begin to search for Him.
It is only when we have no words left
to describe the pain, the hurt,
Only when we feel that we can’t bear
the excruciating agony any longer,
that we will kneel down before him,
raise our hands, look up,
cry to Him and say:
“My Lord, please help me..
For truly I need Your help,
Truly and truly, I need You..”
“Is He [not best] who responds to the desperate one
when he calls upon Him and removes evil
and makes you inheritors of the earth?
Is there a deity with Allah?
Little do you remember”.
